It starts with property selection

Western rangeland is an interactive balance sheet, where plant productivity, species composition, riparian condition, and wildlife habitat are all assets. Liabilities, on the other hand, are things like bare ground, noxious weeds, and erosion.

When we enhance the net ecological value of a property, we tend to enhance the hard-dollar value of the property. This approach is central to our process, and it’s why we use a proprietary analytical tool to determine what type of opportunities a property holds.

Most private equity firms look for opportunities to buy low and sell high. While we certainly do the same, our expertise in ranch and ecosystem rehabilitation makes us unique.
